Class of 2020

To the graduating class of 2020, congratulations!   As you go forward in your life, whether you're heading to a post secondary program or discovering what you would like to do, remember to do so with an open mind. Be ready for whatever the world throws at you and keep going because contrary to what the world keeps trying to tell you, you don't need to have all the answers right now. It's probably better if you don't.

Life is a learning curve, not a test. So spend however much time you need figuring out what you really want. The world will change you in ways you would never expect, but you shouldn't fight it. Let it help you grow.  You have been through so much in the past thirteen years, and even more so in the past few months, so don't let that weigh you down. But let it push you forward, keep going and be what helps you make this world a better place.

Always remember your Westsyde Pride - Pride in ourselves, Pride in others, and Pride in this place.

Farewell to the class of 2020!

Mr. Chris Preymak,

Principal

Westsyde Secondary Class of 2020 Valedictorian Kadie Gillies

Kadie Gillies congratulates her fellow grads for being part of a unique grad class and not just because their mascot is the fiercest (The Whunda). She says she will miss the little things, and she hopes everyone will still be friends when they meet again after heading out on all their separate paths
